Best Striped Classical Cotton 3-Piece Patchwork Bedspread Quilt Sets Queen

I love this bedspread but it is to short side to side so I had to turn it so the stripe goes up and down rather tan side to side. These should be made longer side to side so they cover the mattress.

This will be the perfect cool night throw for summertime. I purchased the twin size for use on a queen size bed. Looks fantastic!

I fell in love with this quilt. It feels very good to the touch. Loved the colors. The length and width were really good for a king - usually they aren't long enough. But unfortunately I am going to send it back. The orange/red stripes have a brown design through them that I really liked. But it looks like the brown "bled" over into the orange/red stripes and made it look very dingy. And one set of the designs with a beige background had lots of dots and flecks of color that looked like an accident. Plus one stripe that would have been right in the middle of the bed was not sewn straight and was partially sewn over. I get that these are supposed to look homemade, but this looked poorly sewn, not hand done.I was soooo disappointed about the dinginess. I debated keeping the spread and left it out spread out to keep considering it, but when I showed it to two friends, they also thought the orange looked dingy and that I should send it back.

If you are looking for a quilt to use as a warm, soft throw this isn't it. Once it is washed, it fluffs but not much, and it is rather thin and stiff. Soft no, the feel is a bit scratchy. If you are looking for an attractive bed spread then this will fulfill that need very well, it does feel like it is well made and could last many years.

Since I have very little negative to say about this bedspread, I will start with that. The only negative thing I have to say has nothing to do with the quality, it comes with the packaging. I am making a "NEW" purchase and I guess I feel that it should be packaged with at a minimum of something stating what it is. This spread came in a protective plastic bag however nothing to identify what’s in the bag. This was purchased as a gift and they had to entirely unfold it to figure out what it was. I feel these reviews are to rate the entire experience & that's my reason for not giving a 5, would only deduct a 1/2 if I could.The material in this spread is nice quality, the colors are vibrant yet warm. The binding around the edge of the spread is a nice touch. My pillow shams don't have the binding as shown in the product picture which is a small disappointment, however the care taken to assure that the patterns are the same on both shams is excellent. This spread is on a Queen Sleigh style bed frame, so it has a full foot board along with side rails, the overall size of this spread is great for this application! There's enough length to allow covering of the sleeping pillows if desired. Having a full foot board allows for short tucking on the feet to allow for more at top, if you need to cover the foot of the bed you may not be able to cover your sleeping pillows. The sides cover the side rails about 1/2 way, leaving it about 10" off the floor, (this bed measures 27" from floor to top of mattress). If you want it to go to the floor you might want to consider a king or using a bed skirt. It hasn't been laundered yet, but the feel of the fabric & overall construction I don't foresee any issues. However, if there are problems after laundering I will update this review, otherwise, consider no news is good news! Delivery was prompt and as promised. Overall very pleased with purchase!

I love this bedspread so much! I have a queen sized bed, and it seems like every standard duvet/comforter is so tiny. They usually stick off the end of the bed and don't look great. This comforter is lovely and long and looks so much better. It's lightweight and good for the summer. As it's getting colder, we added another thicker quilt underneath to stay warm, which is working just fine. But I wouldn't say you could just use this in cold months.The colors are gorgeous. It does look a little faded, but I'm happy with it.I love that it's easily machine washable too! Quality looks and feels good.

First of all the quality is excellent it's solid it's well-made as mentioned by other reviewer's no fading post washing - an overall great product for the price. The downside is that it is smaller than I expected for a queen bed it's more of a full size I have it angled so that you can't see the short end on the other side of the bed. The colors aren't quite as vibrant as the pictures show they are more of a less bright shade but still nice. I'm still keeping it and overall am happy with my purchase.

I received mine this last Tuesday and the current thought is it’s exactly what I was wanting. When it did come, it was vacuumed packed into a plastic bag which kinda made it nice but also a little difficult as well. When I opened the plastic up and pulled the quilt out, it took me a couple minutes to get it unfolded because I think a combination of being vacuumed packed and whatever process they used caused the quilt to cling to itself kind of like it had some sort of residual stuff on it, plus being vacuumed packed caused it to smell like the plastic it came in. However, I was able to get it washed today and didn’t really notice any shrinking but that could just be because I’m using it on a full bed rather than a queen. Even though it doesn’t go to the floor like the picture, I didn’t care if it did or not. Another big plus is after the Washing and drying, it is now giving off a pleasant smell of the countryside or kind of like the smells on the inside of a cracker barrel restaurant which brings back the good memories of going camping, when I was living in a cabin for a year, and visiting relatives on the family farm.
