This item will work for a replacement for Hustler Super Z 782383
The motor dimensions are different than the original equipment 782383 White (larger in depth), however the mounting holes are exact, and it fit in the bay, and the brake assembly bolts all line up. I replace both motors even though only one was leaking past the outer dust seal.

Garbage. Bearing inside is a joke. When it explodes, it sends shrapnel into the pump. It will ruin itself and your $700 pump. It had maybe 50 hours of residential use before it failed. Do not buy.

Fit a scag wildcat update
Was bigger then OEM, but still workedBroke after one year, took out the pump when it broke.
