Super strong and easy to use
Had to come up with some tie downs for a local agency who supplies cots to the homeless. they had these racks that rolled into their trailer, but the sides were too thin to use for securing them. I bought a bunch (16) and used 8 (8 more for future applications) to secure the racks with some ratchet straps. We mounted them to the 3/4" plywood deck and used carriage bolts, lock washers, and nylon insert nuts. They have worked great, a full loaded rack weighs 450+ pounds!

Heavy Duty
I use this anchor plate in conjunction with my farmers jack to remove broken fence posts from the ground. This is a heavy duty anchor plate which accepts 5/16 Lag bolts. It is quality made and did withstand a couple thousand pounds of pulling force with no damage to anchor plate.

Sturdy bit of metal, screw holes can be easily expanded without compromising integrity
I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, and I did receive this product for free for an HONEST review. I am reviewing the Keyfit Tools low profile anchor plate sold by the Keyfit tools store. I made a make shift shelter in an unused bathtub in our casita. The past few years, we have started getting tornados in my town. Granted, they are small and don’t touch down for long, but I live in a manufactured home and Ma lives in a travel trailer on our property. I can’t afford to build a proper storm shelter, so the best I can do for now is create a safe space. I bolted this anchor to the 42”x28” sheet of ¾ inch plywood, which is bolted to the studs in the wall of the casita, which is a stick built building at the northern end of the property. This anchor plate is designed to connect to a quick release, so if need be, we can hop in this old custom built in tub, then duck town and pull the cord, the large piece of plywood drops down, lands on the bars screwed into the studs on the other wall, and is secured with chain. I wanted a better sense of security to keep this anchor plate in place, so Hubby drilled out the manufactured holes, which were 5/16”, using his drill press and drilled them out to fit the ¾” bolts that I purchased. Hubby stated that he was easily able to drill out the holes, so if you need an anchor plate with larger holes, know that this is a solid piece of steel, but can the holes can be widened without undo difficulty. There were chips and flaws in the red paint and there are bits that weren’t painted at all. This doesn’t pose a problem for me, as it will be indoors and only exposed to the elements if something catastrophic happens, but if one were to use this outdoors, they might want to recoat it to decrease the likelihood of rust. That is really my only criticism. Otherwise, this anchor plate works perfectly for my purpose. I could think of many uses for this, including being used to suspends large grow lights from the ceiling for an indoor garden. I grow my own veggies and am working on expanding my indoor growing space and have two large grow lights to get my seedlings of to a strong start and this anchor would work well screwed into studs in the ceiling to hold up the lights. For the price point, at the time of this review this anchor plate is selling for $7.95, which is significantly less expensive than competitors. I hope this review helped and happy shopping!

Suits my purpose perfectly
Having examined this carefully, I find i to be well made and entirely suitable for my purpose. I will be ordering a few more to install on my deck for the purpose of tying down furniture and as a holding point for my dog. They also look nice and have a low profile.I have read the favorable comments of the four and five star ratings and I agree with them.As with most other things in life, it is rarely the case that "one size fits all". This anchor happens to fit my need and will help avoid some common annoyances.

Decent anchor point but not super heavy duty
This bracket is billed as a tie-down anchor, or stationary point for locking up a bicycle or other equipment. At first blush it's a nice hunk of steel with a nice steel loop to hook a chain or strapping, and holes to handle anchor bolts up to 5/16". I perhaps should have read more carefully before I ordered as I hoped for something more thief-resistant not just a tie down point. So I'd prefer to use 3/8" carriage bolts. Not a big deal as I can drill out the existing holes to 3/8".However, the design makes it a non starter for my anti-theft purposes as the 2 bands holding the swivel loop rely entirely on their welds for their strength. I fear a few whacks with a baby sledge could break the welds and there goes your bicycle. Of course a thief would need a heavy tool to defeat this. I don't think a rock would do it. And I could be wrong about the baby sledge; maybe the welds would hold up better than I expect.I do however think a better design would be one where the strength of the unit does not rely on the welds, welds which don't entirely run the lengths of all the joints. The backside there are no welds but there could be and should be in my opinion for added strength.Over many years if subjected to water or worse road ice tracked into a garage I fear the day will come when a weld will rust to the point of failure and potentially cause a sudden tie down failure. I would not use this in a load binder application on a trailer for that reason.I admit I am being speculative and the mfg knows their product much better than I do. So I could be wrong. However some hunks of steel product you just know will hold up to abuse, no question, and this product I just don't know.If you just need a low profile anchor point that wheels can roll over this is a good choice. If you need a place to lock up equipment as a light to medium deterrent this could fit the bill. However be aware of its limitations and that while it appears to be heavy duty I'm not sure that's the case due to relying on welds for its strength.

Super solid piece
This anchor plate is pretty much perfect. It's exactly what it says - a heavy duty anchor suitable for concrete or decks, etc. I'm using it as a tie down mount on my trailer and it's perfect, but I can see using it for lots of other stuff. Good quality, well built and durable. Five stars from me.

Got one of these to see if we could use it on a project. Was not sure of the quality but was happy to see that it was well made. Now going to purchase some more for the project!
