The food bags will be free under water. How does it work? I am undecide whether buy this or not because of the rack** A: The rack sits fixed just below the lid. It keeps the sealed bags from floating above the rack. You must fill the container full, above the rack for it to work. I wish that it could do the same at different levels so that you could reduce amount of water in the container. But it does work. The bags are free to move about below the rack and water level. I do like the clear container and the ability to see the water level and the packages. **Q: Does this fit the $399 Anova Pro?** A: I have the New Anova Precision Cooker which is smaller than my first one. It’s raised with ridges, hard to explain. I still use a cork pad underneath to be safe. It’s so roomy and the top has a rubber gasket.
