Best Yoga Mat Cleaner
I will never use another product again. Thank you, Asutra! You've outdone yourself!***EDIT (9/17/16***I recently did a lab for my BIO 111 (Microbes in Modern Society) class. It entailed that I take 15 samples from my environment and swab them onto agar plates. One of the samples I chose was my yoga mat. I have been using this cleaner exclusively and wanted to see how well it really worked. Even though I chose to take the sample after a workout, from a "dirty" mat, the results showed that Asutra works long after the initial cleaning. After 3 days, the petri dish showed little to no change. Nothing grew in it.This yoga mat cleaner WORKS!

I couldn't decide so I tried all 6.
I had been using Manduka's mat wash, but the idea of using something more natural appealed to me. I purchased the 6 bottle deal because it was the best value, and I wanted to try a few scents. Although not all of the scents deserve a 5 star rating (in my opinion), their cleaning ability, natural ingredients, and the included microfiber towel make up for a couple of misses in the fragrances.Obviously, the appeal of a scent is very subjective, but this is what worked for me and what did not.5 Stars: Soothing Sweet RoseI normally hate floral scents. In fact perfume gives me migraines. This has none of the typical cloying smells that are generally found in floral-scented products. The rose smells like what you would find in a garden, not on a store shelf. The scent is not overpowering, but it is strong enough to be enjoyed while using the mat. This quickly became my favorite out of all of the bottles, and I wish I could buy just this scent in a 6 pack.5 Stars: Energizing PeppermintThis is a close second to the rose scent. It is refreshing but not overwhelming; in fact, the scent is fairly faint, even while being applied. It is just enough to notice during savasana.4 Stars: Uplifting EucalyptusI HATED this scent when I first tried it. My first thought was that I had just coated my mat with the equivalent of Vicks VapoRub. I was wondering how to get the stench off of the mat before I began my practice, and the only positive I could come up with was that it might be nice if I used it when I had a cold. Surprisingly, once it dried, the scent was really pleasant. The medicine smell dissipated, and what was left was enjoyable even through extended Child's Pose.1 Star: Calming CitrusThis was one of the scents that I expected to like the most, and the scent literally made me feel nauseous. It smelled like I had doused my mat in 409. Despite the natural ingredients (and yes, I double checked that nothing artificial had been slipped into this bottle), it was overpowering and artificial smelling. I think this could be salvaged with the addition of a ginger scent, but as it is, it is unbearable.I didn't try the lavender since I purchased that for my daughter, but it seems like enough other reviews have covered that anyway. I haven't tried the unscented either since I enjoy the other scents too much to take a break from them for now.

Great scent, reconditions yoga mat's texture
Background:Bought a very expensive yoga mat and wanted to care for it well.Pros:- I'm not a scent person at all (generally try to get everything with no fragrance), but after reading all the reviews I decided to give the lavender scent a shot. It was worth it! The scent is definitely not overpowering at all, and especially since you are wiping it on the mat, the smell kind of fades off and becomes more mellow. It's such a great surprise the next yoga practice to come back to the mat and realize it's giving off a faint lavender scent. Very relaxing!- It reconditions your mat's texture. My yoga mat is brand new so it is quite slippery since it hasn't been used much. Somehow after using this spray, it made the mat more grip-y, but not sticky in the slightest. I'm not sure how, but this is the biggest thing I was hoping for out of this spray and it delivered.Cons:- Not much
