Brainerd 64668 Wood Square Single Decorator Wall Plate / Switch Plate / Cover, Unfinished

For some reason these pieces cost almost twice as much as the other wood outlet covers I need for my project and I can't figure out why. Other than that though, these were perfect for wood burning and adding details to!

Decent quality, although at this price point, about average considering there are similar competitors available at Lowe’s for around half the price. Overall, exactly as advertised, and will make a nice addition to your decor. I used the Krylon wood distressing spray paint, and they turned out great.

I have a wall switch that needed to have a slight custom cut to fit its place. It sawed super easy, nice sanding, then a easy spray paint and mounting. Very happy!

The wood quality appeared to be good. I bought 3 of these square single wall plates. One had a screw missing. Package did not appear to be opened. Another had the back steel support plate placed so that it blocked one of the screw holes.I question what process is in place to ensure quality of the product that is being assembled and shipped? What good is a product if I can not drive a screw through or if one of the screws are missing?I would have given a higher review if the product was as advertised.

Great "woodsy" effect when using light to mid stain for that rustic look.

Natural wood always has a variation in color but a few of these were all very much lighter than the others. Looked like they mixed up the finish color between medium and light. Disappointing.

Used for oversized cutout and aesthetically pleasing.

These are nicely made, smooth, light-colored, no defects. I thought I was going to paint them but I left them alone and they look nice.
