Great product, that I mix with the Oxbow Critical Care to feed our "was dying" guinea pig. I don't have time to go into all of the things that happened to our little female guinea pig's health, but in a nutshell, she had stopped eating and drinking on her own, as she couldn't. Her legs appeared to be paralyzed, so we got some liquid calcium into her, and started feeding her via syringe, about 6 times a day.She loves the taste of this, I love the ingredients, but mix it with the Critical Care.I only wish the grind was finer, as it clogs the syringe, despite the fact that the feeding opening was enlarged. In order to use this effectively in a syringe, I have to grind it up finer in my seed mill. That is an extra step I could do without.Other than that, love it, and she eats it voraciously!

I use this in place of the Oxbow Critical care and I love it. I love the ingredients and my guinea pigs love the flavor! They eat it when it is just mixed with water whereas the Oxbow Critical Care I had to mix with water and baby food in order for them to eat it. My guinea pigs wheek so loud and beg for this when they smell it. You can’t go wrong with Sherwood!

Guinea pig is 6 years old and started losing weight, had lost interest in hay, and wasn’t looking like he would live much longer, so we got him critical care. And he hated it, wouldn’t touch it or anything the critical care touched, so we tried sarx plus instead. We mixed some up and added 1/4 of a banana and hoped for the best, the second he got a whiff of it he started chewing the bars like he was starving. That was August 4th and he has been doing fine ever since, he stopped losing weight, he perked up, and he started eating his pellets and hay again, he loves it. The only problem is now he stares us down for sarx multiple times a day, even though he knows it’s a once a day treat

My Guinea pigs love this product. Was formerly using oxbow critical care which they would not willingly eat. Switch to Sherwood SARx and they eat it up right away! It also smells SO good and fresh. Super glad I made the switch!

This is a really clean product and my guinea pig likes it as much as the critical care. I couldn’t believe how quickly the seller got it in the mail. Very grateful for their prompt service.
