Rowan Kidsilk Haze 590 Pearl

This is a really nice balance of fibers. It knit up beautifully.

Beautiful yarn

A great silk mohair yarn with pretty neutral color. I bought the old Italian version which is significantly softer than the current black labeled version. The price was decent too. However, I may try to use the Rowan Cash Haze for the next project to try it out. Mohair becomes too popular and the price is on par with the Cash Haze now.

I have bought 8 skeins of this now. I am pairing this yarn along with another to knit a really nice lace shawl. This yarn is fuzzy and does shed of course, but if I put lotion on my hands before I knit, it tends to stay off of my hands ( and away from my face, nose, eyes, etc.). It is wonderfully soft and the consistency of color and size has not wavered once in the 6 skeins I have used so far.

So soft and squishy, it's in my stash just waiting for the right pattern to come along. This stuff is a dream to work with - can't wait to play!

Excellent yarn. Knits up beautifully for a lacey infinity scarf. Gives a lovely hall effect when combined with a worsted or dk weight yarn.

High quality yarn

Beautiful Rowan never disappoints. Colors are beautiful, Kidsilk, which I've worked with before, has a lovely furry soft haze and ages as the garment is worn to an even softer effect.

En primer lugar, esta no es una lana fácil de trabajar. Es peluda y el hilo central es super fino así que uno tiene que ser cuidadoso. En un único hilo es un trabajo muy duro, yo utilice el hilo en doble para conseguir tejer un jersey sin morirme en el intento. Aunque, claro, no tengo tanta experiencia en el punto.Esto dicho, tiene una luz (la seda), una suavidad (el mohair) y una ligereza excepcional. Aun siendo muy fina, no se rompe y el resultado es espectacular.Es la Reyna de las lanas pero no es para principiantes!

Mega schöne Wolle. Stricken macht mit dieser sehr großen Spaß. Obwohl sehr dünn mit 3,5-3,75 zu verstricken, ergibt ein Federleichtes Gespinst. Wunderschön für Schals und Stola, oder auch Mütze, wenn man doppelt strickt. Für einen Schal braucht man 4 Stück, also um die 40€. Kein Schnäppchen, aber ein Kumstwerk über das sich jedermann freut. Seidig weich und kratzfreies Tragegefühl. Ein Traum!

Bellissimo e di alta qualità, il tono di rosa è piu' magenta e polveroso che rosa 'Barbie', come appare in foto. Si presta dunque anche per le Signore più agèe.
