The little machine that could
This popcorn might be on the small side, but it's great. We bought it to accommodate an order for my wife's side business, and this machine did not disappoint. We made about 24 lbs of corn in two weeks, and the popcorn came out great every time.Making popcorn - I found it best to make half the suggested portion on the instructions to ensure you don't waste as many kernels. When making a whole batch, you will find that many kernels don't pop. I'm not sure why that is, but I found it's best to make half the recommended amount. The cleaning - I found it best to clean the pot after 4 to 5 batches of popcorn. I tried to push it, but you start getting a lot more burnt kernels, and the oil burned at the bottom builds up and becomes more challenging to clean. I use the good old barkeeper's friend to clean the pot, which works wonders. We used the dawn powerwash and hot water for the glass portion of the machine, and the machine cleaned up very well.We also made caramel and kettle corn, and the popcorn maker worked fine. If I had to find a con to this product, it would be the accessibility to add the ingredients. Maybe because I'm left-handed, it was not as easy, but even my kids and wife had a hard time. Other than that, this popcorn maker is good.

A fun popcorn machine with some flaws.
The Good: The kettle works well, it looks nice, and its a really fun decorative piece. I use it just about every day.The Not So Good: The candy dispenser is fun and all but it's really not great at dispensing. Peanut M&Ms are almost impossible to get out. The cart build quality is cheap and the hardware provided doesn't make much sense. I understand it's a consumer grade machine and not meant for heavy duty use but as far as the cart goes it is extremely flimsy. The machine itself is OK though.Note: The first time I ran the kettle, the agitator arm inside scraped the bottom of the kettle and created a very loud screeching noise and a heavy amount of metal shavings. Once I added oil it stopped completely.Overall: I like it and most likely would buy it again, maybe in a larger size but I feel like it's priced about $70 too high.
