Didn't realize it had pinholes.
It's actually designed to allow airflow but has some ridges that just didn't feel right when I wore them.

They work!
Don't let the first impression fool you! These are AMAZING! When I first put them in, I really thought I was going to hate these insoles. There is a bubble right in the middle of the insole, drove me nuts! Then I forgot about it and realized the ball of my foot wasn't hurting anymore. I've had a large callus on the ball of my left foot for over 10yrs - no matter what I do, it comes back and hurts with any pressure. These insoles take all the pressure off the ball and supports my arch perfectly. I didn't even realize until now, pronating is likely what's caused the callus to begin with! I'm so so glad I didn't give up on these insoles when first trying them out. I'll be getting a second pair for myself and a pair for my daughter as well.

Probably better in shoes than work boots.
I'm a mechanic, working on concrete floors all day and these insoles don't cut it for long hours. First off, i wear a 9.5 size boot and based on the sizing recommendation (medium), these insoles run a bit short (1/2 inch). They don't extend fully to the front of the toe box. I wore them for one day and removed them. They started off comfy, but as the day progressed, my feet grew more tired and numb. The arch support really isn't there, the insole is very thin and cheap feeling and the pads of my feet and heel feel sore. These would probably work great in a sneaker or dress shoe but don't hold up to long hours on your working feet.

Too thick
Too thick to use in my shoes. I would need to buy new size shoe as too up too much room

Comfortable and shock absolbing
You need some strong scissors to cut the sole to the size of your shoe's inside. Once the insert fits the insole is very comfortable. The little ripples on the toe area are a bit strange at first, but after walking a few minutes you forget they are there. They give a good grip so.

Heel cushion good, middle foot hump BAD
The heel cushion is nice however the metatarsal (midsole) cushion is way to high, firm, and uncomfortable. It's like a huge mountain hump in the middle of the foot with very little flex or softness. I tried to break them in (get used to them) by wearing them for a couple hours a day for a week, but ultimately gave up since they always made my arches hurt. They felt like walking with a rock inside my shoe, granted not a sharp rock, more a round river rock right in the middle of my foot. For someone with very high arches, these might offer an acceptable level of metatarsal support, but for people with normal arches I don't recommend them. And if you have flat feet, these are definitely not going to feel good!

I guess it gets the job done, sort of.
It's not what everybody who previously purchased them before me made them out to be. Just my opinion. TBH, i was actually looking for another brand but they are no longer on here so I went with these. They were the first recommended by amazon but doesn't live up to the hype.

High end comfort for a fraction of the cost!
These insoles work great. Both my feet are overpronated. My feet hurt really bad after walking or standing. I went to a podiatrist and was fitted with orthotics for a whopping $500 for one pair! They really helped, but I needed more than 1 pair because I got tired of taking them in and out of my shoes. I couldn’t pay $500, so I thought I would try these. They have been just as good or better than the custom orthotics for a fraction of the price! I am ecstatic!

Plantar fasciitis
I bought several types of inserts to help me with the heel problem. It does help if you are on the go.

Ok for light use
I work in a factory and needed a lightweight insert for my boots, these were a little too stiff for my support level and the gel heel detached the second day

One size does not fit all
This product is designed for a larger foot, even though you can cut it down, it’s still not proper fitting for a smaller foot plus there’s a ball module in there, which is irrelevant, plantar fasciitis

Not much arch support
I was disappointed with the lack of arch support. Feels like walking on a flattened small foam ball. Barely noticeable. The heel is somewhat comfortable.

Gel on insole fell out-poor quality.
Insoles only lasted 2 months before comfort gel fell out. Wouldn't purchase again.
