Good
As a kid, I have always enjoyed reading Enid Blyton's book & wanted to introduce my kid to that as well. My kid loves this series & it has been a worthy addition to our Enid Blyton collection of books. As usual, the narration, and the adventures of the children are engaging. It transports you to another world. The seller was Repro Books & it was an Amazon-fulfilled service. Happy reading.

Great book and series for Boys
My son (aged 8) loves these books. His reading really took off last year when he read the Secret 7 and since then he is has moved up Harry Potter to which he is addicted. I got him some of this Adventure Series to try to find an HP replacement. He adores them and says they are the "most exciting books he has ever read". He read them very quickly the first time and could hardly put them down but has re-read them at least twice.I assume they follow much the same formula as Secret 7 and Famous 5 but they seem to be the best of the three series. Highly recommended. The second hand copies I bought were in nice condition and a real bargain.

I felt like I was there while reading it.
I enjoyed it and felt like I spent time in Scotland again. Well written fun. It is set on an island of birds. Enough fun in a book, but can you imagine being there really. Have you had a bird pick you out as special?A definite adventure.
