Some issues....2005 Honda Civic EX
This does NOT include the bushing connector piece and pin for the hydraulic line to screw into. You will have to remove the U pin and piece from your old one. Kind of chincy if you ask me. -1 star. Also the bracket piece that connects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal was too big, again had to use my old one, or possibly could have bent it closed more, but -1 star for that. So 3 stars, but it does work so far. On a 2005 Honda Civic EX, I also replaced the slave cylinder with the same brand.Update: Master cylinder went bad, December 23 2021, so got a good 7 months out of it. Sad. Go with another brand.

Failed after a week... -_-
Swapped out whole clutch system, failed after a week!!!!!!!Pro tip: highly likely the connector for your clutch petal won't work as it'll be the wrong size make sure to compare and confirm fitment prior to install.Try to adjust it properly prior to install. If you need go adjust while in the car use vice grips to turn the rod to reduce clutch petal play. Don't try to reduce play from the actual master just what the theads allow.

USE THE OLD LINKAGE, not the provided linkage.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS WITH THE PROVIDED LINKAGE!! USE THE OLDONE!! The clip that holds in pin you take out to remove the cylinder from the pedal will not go back in with the provided linkage part! As difficult as this part is to change, I find it inexcusable that Exedy would keep selling these like this. I usually like Exedy parts, but this makes me want to NEVER buy anything from them again. Save yourself the trouble and install the old linkage before you wrestle this part back into your firewall, trust me.The linkage that comes with this is about 1mm too wide to allow the clip back through the pin that attaches this to the clutch pedal.

works fine so far on a 2005 Honda Civic EX
the clutch master has not failed so far.REUSE THE OLD PEDAL LINKAGE INSTEAD OF THE EXCEDY ONE, AND You may wish to purchase the following part number from Honda prior to tackling this project: 46942-S5A-003.you can pull the flare nut pin out using a 4 ft long flathead and have it spring out to some random place in the engine, or you can use 2 normal sized wrenches to loosen the two.

Works great on my 06 acura rsx-s
Works great on my 06 acura rsx-s. Replacement of this unit (any any other cmc) was difficult on this car with how little space there is to work.Love these CMC without the clutch delay valve. The bad - I notice more pedal vibration with this unit when shifting around 4-6k rpms.

the clip that holds the flare fitting to the master cylinder wasn't in the best of shape
Only driven with it for a day, but so far it has cured my creaking clutch pedal. When changing mine, the clip that holds the flare fitting to the master cylinder wasn't in the best of shape. You may wish to purchase the following part number from Honda prior to tackling this project: 46942-S5A-003.

Great OEM Replacement
This is a great replacement for your OEM CMC and the price is more than fair. If you have anything other than a stock clutch, YOU NEED TO buy a CMC WITHOUT the triangular plate as the OEM ones cannot handle it. This will fix your gear grinds. You also may or may not have to fix your clutch pedal height depending on your situation.Quick and easy install if you are mechanically inclined.
