One of the best Cure albums. Dark, sad, and a must have.

I've gotten back into Siouxsie and the Banshees in the last few years, so it's almost obvious that I'd be getting back into The Cure. As Lol Tolhurst, their co-founder and original drummer will tell you (paraphrasing), this has an intense sound. If you are simply familiar with the fun and bouncy "Love Cats," "Let's Go To Bed," "High," or the early, quietly spooky "A Forest," this is a different sound. It isn't what I'd call a collection I'd listen to regardless of mood, but it IS a solid production, and I'm still finding interesting lyrical phrases and ways of viewing emotions and reality (?!), hidden in these songs. Lol will tell you (paraphrasing again) that Robert Smith is NOT a guy sitting alone in a dark tower somewhere, surrounded with candles, tears streaming down his face. He's actually a witty and funny guy. This album does perpetuate the Myth. But...isn't that what being a Goth (whether obvious or quietly so) is partly about?

the cure makes a grand statement with Pornography. The pinnacle of the cure's goth music venture into immortality. This album is simply brilliant! The Cure takes great lengths to show dispair and pain. I can't speak enough about the drama and emmaculate range the cure display and this simply brilliant album. for those who want to feel the emotion of a group at the height of their creative brilliance , i would highly recommend this album without hesitation.

Anybody who knows anything, knows that this is their best album. The remaster does it justice.

It is as expected, shipped/arrived quickly I would order again
