Worked beyond my expectations!
I used Loctite 565 to seal the brass threads when replacing the pressure regulator on my air compressor. I had tried Teflon tape and Rector Seal, separately and together, without success. I actually cracked one new regulator by over tightening it in an attempt to stop the leak when using these other products. I then used Loctite 565 per the instructions (It is very easy to apply), installed the regulator and immediately started the compressor. The instructions did not say to let it cure. But I expected it to leak and to have to redo the connection and allow a few hours for the Loctite 565 to harden. It has the consistency of shampoo. That is to say not runny, but not very thick either. That's why I thought it would need time to set up. Surprisingly, It held 125 psi right away! Since I turn off the power to the compressor every time I leave the shop, I can say for sure that the connection holds 125 psi for at least three days and probably much longer. This is my new go-to thread sealant!

Better then tiff on tape.

Works great after curing.
If you have about 24 hours to let it fully dry, then highly recommended. Iโm sure you could do it in less, I found that to be a sweet spot. Works 10x better than tape. Iโve yet to have a leak on any of the fittings Iโve let cure.

It's in the details
I love this stuff, just wish I paid better attention to the quantity. I wanted a bigger tube.

Way better than the tape
If you need to seal up them fittings, you know the tape sucks, get this stuff and place just a lil dab on the threads. My go-to from now on.

Gives piece of mind for critical piping installations
You SHOULDN'T need this for NPT and flare fitting installations, but I used it anyway due to the difficulty of accessing some connections on my airplane. Will NOT clog filters like stray bits of teflon tape.

Great sealant
I used this for my air suspension plugs and connections! Worked well when used as instructed, always do a leak test afterwards. Removal of the plugs and connections were also easy. Always be sure to clean connection and re apply the sealant if you move the connection after it has set
