Q: Has anyone tried this product on yarn, to keep tied end fixed to the wrong side of a crochet piece? Thanks!

If this product is anything like Fray Check which uses nylon to coat the fiber it’s applied to, I don’t think it will create what you’re looking for. Weaving in the ends will most likely give the most invisible look with yarn tails hanging on the backside of your work. You could look into doing things like the Russian join or braided join to prevent tails in some situations though.

Q: Will this help my hand woven rug to stop shedding?

I used this for the burlap runners I cut and made for the picnic tables at my daughters wedding to stop the unraveling and shedding where it was cut.

Q: When making pants out of wool, would you recommend this for the inside seams to stop fraying?

Not having worked with wool with this product, I would just advise what most garment manufacturers say, which is to test on an inconspicuous spot to make sure it won't stain or damage the fabric. However, before doing that I would try pinking the edges if there's enough there to do that with, then use the fray stop.

Greetings, I have not tried it on any other material than cotton but if I were facing your frayed window roller shade, I'd try it. When I've used it on strips of fabric, I've placed the fabric on a table in the garage and sprayed it along the edges. So take care with your environment and use a mask if you tend to be effected by aerosols in the air. I hope this helps.
