It's a fire hose!
The color is beautiful. A professional color but standing out vs traditional black or blue. It's a little lightly saturated but it is a true document ink. It will hold up to water, Bleach, you name it. Keeping that in mind if you're quick and get it on yourself it will wash off. The only advice I have is use a dryer writing pen. If you have a wet nib and feed this is going to just flood out!

Not turquoise at all
Overall, I love DeAtramentis Document Inks. The problem with this particular ink, Turquoise, is that it is not turquoise at all. Instead it is a gray blue. I am. very disappointed in the color of this ink.

Turquoise Not Cyan
Imagine my surprise to learn that DeAtramentis changed the color of their turquoise document ink. Their turquoise is now a dark-ish teal. If you're looking for a very pretty blue turquoise, go with their Cyan document ink. Other than that, DeAtramentis inks are among my favorites in general and certainly my favorite when it comes to waterproof inks.

This permanent ink
I love this color! I have several other deAtremis document inks and they work great in my drawings/paintings. Eventually I'll probably own all of the document ink colors.
