Good value
Great little Petri dishes suitable for experiments or storing small items such as seed beads etc.Quite sturdy and nice and clear too

Great as disposable sterile dishes. Sadly not "reuseable" as stated. They melt under pasteurisation
Description states reuseable. But that means sterilising, or pasteurising them. Sadly for me, they melted on pasteurisation. As a one off, single use, they would be great, but wouldn't necessarilywork out as cheap.Nice design otherwise. Close fitting lids, with base and lid being readibly sealable with tape, unlike those where the lid totally covers the base leaving nothing of the base for sealing tape to grab, these have a lid that doesn't totally envelope the base.

Small but worth the money
These are for use in a childrens club so they can try some science/ experiments so they are looking forward to using

Great for Home Mycology
I bought these for pouring agar for home mycology, while I try to limit my plastic use it can be a pain to have to keep sterilising glass plates so these are handy for when you don’t have any sterile glass ones and either don’t have the time or enough glassware to justify a sterilisation cycle. I suppose they’d also be useful for sharing samples by post etc as they’re less fragile. The forceps don’t really hold up well to being flame sterilised, but were a bonus. When I used the pasteur pipettes I had quite a lot of contamination compared to usual so I guess they get some contamination when being sorted from larger bags. It would be fine if using to collect environmental samples for microscopy, but probably best to use sterile glassware/inoculation loop for agar work.
