So beautifully written and worth hardback for this one.

I bought this book so I have one to give each of my children when they have kids. I read this to them when they were little and the story is one every mom and dad can relate to.

I love all of Nancy Tillman's books, and this is no exception. The wonderfully whimsical illustrations and poignant, poetic words combine into such a wonderful bedtime story. I have to admit, I teared up a little bit last night while reading it to my 4 year old daughter for the first time. ♡

This book is DELIGHTFUL. The writing is excellent and the illustrations are super rich. I really enjoy reading this one! There's a great tempo and a beautiful message. HIGHLY recommend. It ranks in my top five board books -- All the World, Wherever You Go My Love Will Find You, Are You My Mother? Wherever You Go, and Till the Cows Come Home.

The Nancy Tillman books are a favourite in our house. You can't go wrong with any of them.
