ACDelco Gold 335-1040 Alternator

The alternator was a perfect fit and exactly like the original equipment. Installed easily and worked flawlessly. Great buy for a new alternator and Amazon's price was less than a rebuilt unit available locally not have the pain in the a_ _ with core charge and return. Great service as always from Amazon.

Replaced my original alternator for my 91 caprice classic. Working great so far

Fit after adjusting washers. Solved blinking headlights from weak alternator (diodes). Went with replacement rather than just rectifier swapped out. Nee bearings and regulator with new alternator. Great Upgrade amperage for 1987 Astro.

This alternator worked for about 2.5 months and 2200 miles then quit. When I asked about warrantee I was told that it was out of the return period. Then upon further contact I was offered a return at 20% restocking fee. The return had to be completed in 7 days. I then purchased a reman replacement at orellies auto so I could return in time for 80 percent of what I had spent without an alternator. So If you choose to purchase this remember no warrantee...

I bought and changed this over two years ago (about) and it is still working perfectly, I have had absolutely no problems with it all all. As far as install, it installed just like all of the others do, so no need to really tell you about that.
