Useless parts wrong parts hassle
The media could not be loaded. ย Ordered the correct part number I have over 20 years in the parts business experience. I received rings that's were useless not compatible with my engine 5.7 Chevy small block 383 stroker. All 8 2nd groove rings were the wrong size. All to small for my bore. Only the 2nd groove rings were wrong. I tried to explain to Amazon what the problem was and all I got was a hassle from customer service. I was hung up on once. I had to make 3 calls and explained everything in detail again and again to each person and let them know that I'm a professional parts person. I could not exchange the product for another set. Amazon wanted me to pick from a list of products to buy. Wow that's absurd. I only wanted an exchange that's it I wasn't asking for a refund or a free set of rings either. The customer service people made a big deal about it and all they did was tick me off. Worst part is I traveled out of town to do this job and it was a waste of time energy and fuel cost and all for nothing. Look at that gap in the first two pics on two different bores. The last pic is of the old 8 year old ring that actually still had a correct gap. I used the biggest feeler gauge I had which was .032 and I needed probably another.030 to fill the gap up. Amazon gave me nothing but hassle and it is there fault for sending me product that is defective. I merely wanted another set and instead I had to return the product for a refund they would not exchange it. Then they wanted pictures of the shipping label lol what for that's absurd the package was in the trash days before. They also wanted pics of the rings showing they are wrong. Even more absurd as if they are qualified to know what to look for lol funny. What a total Absurd experience that was.I printed out the shipping label using the online app which cost me money on ink and took more time to drop it off and fuel cost again and sent it in for a refund. Amazon you need to do better. I've never been hassled so much over your mistake and on top of all the customer service person told me unless I send a photo of the shipping label and the bad product that I basically had to keep it as she rushed me off the phone. When I asked for a supervisor in the USA she hung up on me of course she would she was in another country and didn't want me to talk to a supervisor fearing she'd get in trouble but she hung up me that's just my opinion and I'm entitled to it. Parts were wrong that's a fact I'm no rookie in engines or parts I've even ran a parts store for two major part companies.Get it together and done hassles the customer when it's not their fault. 32 years of parts retail experience and to this day I still sell parts and this is what I get. If I had bought them in a parts store I would have had no hassle getting an exchange.I even wasted my time calling Hastings and was on hold forever and I emailed them and left a boice mail and I did not get a response.Boooooo ๐๐๐

Garbage.... Literally....
I bought these for a small block Chevelle 383.. the gap was too large! The rings were brittle! This has already broken and had to buy another new set! Needless to say this didn't last very long! Long enough for me to not be able to return! I am extremely disappointed with this item! Starting to steer away from buying car parts off Amazon... I would not recommend this product

Wrong parts
They were the wrong parts. My fault, but rings were too thick for the pistons
