On the whole I like this fan. It seems built well, mostly aluminum where my previous fan, a Dyson was mainly plastic. This fan is nice and quiet and fully adjustable for my needs. Great air flow, nice looks, and comes fully assembled with the exception of the base.It does have a couple of negatives that may affect you. First, you can only control it with the remote. So if the remote stops working you cannot use the fan. Another possible problem is the fans base footprint. It is big, and may make it difficult to find a spot to place it where you won’t trip over it. And last but not least it is expensive unless you compare it to a Dyson which costs more.I think all in all that you will enjoy having and using it.Just as an after thought, I have purchased 2 CR2032 batteries as spares for the remote. I do not want to take a chance that the remote goes dead in the middle of the summer as it is the only way to control the fan. CR2032 lithium batteries are very inexpensive, but good as insurance that your remote will continue working.

The fan is amazing, and strong and quite. I got it to help my AC cool down my home and it works. I put it behind the AC unit and now the whole living room is nice and cool. The only slightly negative comment is that it only works with a remote control. Otherwise, it's really the best fan I've ever owned and am going to buy another one for my bedroom!The customer service is also amazing and very responsive....a human actually answered me, even with the time change from Australia, it was very fast! They certainly stand by their products. Their grills are amazing as well!I highly recommend this fan!

stopped oscillating and motor makes loud noise

Stationary is best. Smaller but focused stream of air. Difficult to clean, I will have to check for directions. Says it’s indoor/outdoor. I have no idea how much power it uses. It’s been great at night when our older house has a lot of heat trapped upstairs. But I can’t help but feel I overpaid for it.

Positives: It channels air pretty far and directly. Very unique look (I got teal)Negatives: Not near silent, a bit of a higher pitch whine noise at every level. Not good for watching TV beyond fan speed level 2 (6 levels). Comes with 2 remotes. (Don't lose them, you won't be able to control the fan). Tripod needs a lot more floor space than say a tower fan.This fan could really benefit from a phone app just for basic controls in case the remotes are lost.

This fan can move some serious air, and direct it with pinpoint accuracy. I hardly ever have it up beyond the lowest or second lowest power (out of 6 levels). The highest power feels like about enough to set sail with a parachute.The remote is some kind of magic (WiFi? But needs only a quick, simple pairing), and it comes with two of them. The oscillation is off the charts great — even pointed up or down — tho almost creepy in that it looks like a robot head scanning the room.Seriously great fan tho. The color part is a little iffy — I don’t know if it’ll hold up great, but I can deal with that for how great it is over all.And considering how much air it moves, it’s incredibly quiet.

Super quiet, love the design.

I loved this fan when I first got it. It was very powerful with not much noise even on the highest speed.After a month, the fan started making a noise like a rubbing sound. It started off low for a while and then after a few days got louder and louder. Now it's at the point where the noise is so loud I can't use the fan!At this price you should get more than a month of use out of it without these kinds of issues. Very disappointed. Contacted Amazon and they just refer me to the manufacturers warranty. Looks like I'm out of luck for now with no fan for several weeks in the summer heat.
