This clamp worked exactly as expected. It fit well, tightened down nicely and is holding the tube in place as expected. No longer is the tube slipping off the metal connector. I would buy it again, but I would rather not pay so much.

Ganged together to make correct size. Good product. Seller did the correct thing. Would buy from this seller again.

I needed a bridge clamp for 8" spiral hose, but they had sizes of 7", 9", etc. I went with the 7" because the description read " 7" Min Clamp ID", which to any English speaking reader would mean that the minimum diameter for this clamp is 7". So surely it would expand to fit an 8" hose. Nope . The MAXIMUM diameter of this clamp is 7". It will not expand to fit an 8" hose. Why in the world would you describe it as a 7" Min Clamp ID? Now I have to reorder a 9" min ID to fit an 8" hose. $25 wasted.

The device is appealing because it accommodates hose ribs, but it is restrictive regarding the diameter of hose it will accommodate. Based on the device that I received, it has a total length of 25.25". Subtracting 0.875" for overlap with the adjusting nut takes us to 24.375". Giving a theoretical maximum diameter of 7.75". There are 4 inches of adjustment which makes the minimum diameter 6.5". Remember tube wall and ribs may add to your consideration. I had hope to use it on 6" tube, but alas 6" is too small for the adjustment.

While these are very well made and strong enough to perform great clamp load. Unfortunately they are not maked as right or left-hand and were nothing more than a general clamp.
