The Tall Trees: An Andrew and Feelo Eco Adventure

What a fun book this was to read. I can't wait to purchase copies for my friends and family. With this entertaining story using rhyme, you will learn about recycling, nature, vocabulary and imagination. This book will provide many topics to discuss with children in a fun and educational way. I will want to read the other adventures of Andrew and Feelo.The artwork illustrations were really amazing.

--a dragon, a boy, and baseball? Well, a tale with all of those, and a storyteller like Craig Vroom to pen the tale. What a delight! It survives re-readings--as new as it is (I was a fan of The Secretous Sign, also), it's always a delight to pull out and renew a friendship with Andrew and Feelo. Dr. Seuss's magic comes to mind, but Vroom's light touch with language has its own charm, and I look forward to the next book. I hope many will pick up this series (surely it will be ongoing?), as their messages encompass an important environmental lesson--children who start with these stories will eventually graduate to Carl Hiassen's young adult books with similar themes, and perhaps help found a more substantial, potent ecology ethic among youngsters. As a retired young adult librarian, Mr. Vroom's works are promising--let's see more.

The Tall Trees - An Andrew and Feelo Eco Adventure  Beginning with a daydream at a classroom desk, Andrew, and his "best friend', Feelo, a clever, lovable dragon, take the reader or listener on a "whimsically" captivating journey of soaring fantasy flight ,so imaginative and exciting, it will keep you anticipating from cover to close. This will stir a child's imagination, using marvelous art illustrations, along with entertaining and amusing , nonsensical words that rhyme and make perfect sense .....to a child. It's guaranteed to warrant many repeat readings, all the while, impressing the understanding of how important it is to care for and preserve natural resources through recycling. I highly recommend as a "must" for your child's reading library.

What a quirky, fun book for adults as well as kids! I love Feelo and think stuffed animals, t-shirts, and coffee mugs need to be made with him on it. The pictures are wonderful and Craig's rhymes are excellent. It is great to have a book like this which keeps the tradition of rhyme and poetry going for kids-especially in this techno-texting age when language is abbreviated. I bought a copy for an Australian friend to take home to his grandkids!! Keep the series going!!! The stories are great!

Loved this book! The story is written through poetry that can be enjoyed by all ages. The illustrations are beautiful as well. It's great to have more stories out there that encourage children and families to care for our planet and be more aware of environmental issues. We will read this again and again!
