Worth a read like a Bible
After being in the business for over three decades this book has a very good understanding of the job Well written One of my many books I have on the job It'd be good for a newbie, so they could understand what is required and the standards of the job Christmas present maybe or just a smack in the right direction The number of times Iv been asked is it like the film The Bodyguard No its harder Being able to take on every task without fail is the job

Not suitable for UK readers
If you are in the UK, this book will get you into trouble because you cannot carry a knife for defensive purposes. Close Protection Training Manual does not meet the Learning Objectives of the UK SIA Close Protection examinations. The writing style could use the services of a competent literary editor. Finally the book does not format properly on Kindle, resulting in text that is smaller than newspaper print and cannot be adjusted. It's only the price of a coffee, but I wish I had bought a coffee instead.

Bodyguad procedures sont très variés, donc bons révisions en anglais pour moi. Cet livre est l’explication générale de CPO/CSD. D’abord quelques chose je dois faire sont travail beaucoup fois. Bon livre, merci.

Great Manual
I've been involved with protection operations over 20 years to include service in the Military, Government, and private sectors. I stay humble, and consider myself a "student for life." I constantly purchase new material, or attend training courses to keep my skill set current. This manual was overall outstanding, and I give it five stars! The book is large in size, packed with information that might save your life, or the life of another, and the author presents this information in a straight forward approach. It was written from a team leader perspective, and helped to knock some of the rust off!
