First off, this is a really amazing knee brace—and it's a steal at the under-$20 price I paid. Even though I've been off of hockey for nearly three weeks with a knee sprain, I was able to skate without discomfort with even the "Moderate" level support. I am excited to get back to playing this week . . . after I receive the next size up in the mail.I had previously ordered another very well-reviewed hinged brace on Amazon, and found that the fit was extremely loose. So I measured carefully for this one, and went with the smallest size category I fit in.All I can say is that whoever designed this brace seems to have had runners in mind, not hockey players (and probably not curvy women in any sport)! To explain: hockey players have little calf development, but massive thighs. Even as a consistent rec-level player, I definitely can see this imbalance in my own legs. I could hardly get the brace onto my leg at all in the recommended "Small," but even when I moved up to "Medium," I had to struggle mightily to get the brace up over my knee.I think I'm likely to end up in a "Large" size brace even though I'm only a medium-sized female. So I recommend ordering one or two sizes up if you have any muscle development in your thighs—and seeking another brace if you're actually a large person.

One of my challenges with these braces and my bony knees is getting a feeling of tightness around the knee center (cap/meniscus). I always felt I would like something that could adjust tightness around that area. This looked like it for the bill and it does. Love it and have been using it to exclusively in my work outs. I even bought a second. The only complaints is I feel the supports don’t fit perfectly. The one over the top moved up and down over the knee cap brace. It gets tighter than most strap but still looking for more.Also I can see the brace getting very pilled as the Velcro grabs the brace and pulls the material up.

This brace is by far the best one I’ve bought or gotten by the doctors. It’s comfortable, the support is awesome, and I feel no pain in my knee when I wear it.

I love this compression sleeve. It’s perfect for work because it’s not too bulky and keeps my knee feeling great! It runs a little big though
