Works great but is a bit loud
I am using these as a backup on a reef tank. The design is very sturdy and the pumps run for at least a day or more on a set of batteries. The waterproofing is pretty good, the switch is covered with a clear rubber shield.About the only negative is that you can hear this pump for 20ft away pretty clearly. It wont penetrate a closed door but you do notice it a lot if your in the same room with it. Overall its still a good value and has been working reliably over a 24 hour test run.
