Aromatherapy Diffuser - Professional Grade - Wood and Glass (Orbis Nox Merus)

I did a lot of obsessive researching before I bought this diffuser. Along the way I decided that I wanted a nebulizing diffuser instead of an ultrasonic diffuser. The nebulizer insures that you are getting the highest quality diffusion from your oils. Unlike ultrasonic diffusers, which carry the oil particles through water, this emits only the essential oil. I appreciate that there is no plastic coming in contact with the oils. No plastic also means that you can use citrus oils without fear of destroying the unit.The unit is fairly quiet. It make a low hum. Not silent but not annoying. When the oils start to run low it makes a kind of annoying rattling noise. I contacted the owner and he said it was normal. He said to either add more oil at that point (obviously) or add everclear alcohol if you didn't want to add more oil (not rubbing alcohol).My unit works on a 10 min on and 10 min off cycle for up to 4 hours. Before I purchased this unit I was thinking of getting one that ran up to 8 hours. I'm glad I didn't. There is no way I'd ever want to use it that long. The mist emitted with very concentrated and intense. It quickly fills my small bedroom and I find that I usually don't want it on for more that 30 minutes or so. I give 4 stars because I'd ideally like to have more control over the on/off times in order to spread out the time and lessen the oil's intensity. I have only used it on the lowest setting and that's still too much at times.The unit diffuses a lot of oil in a small amount of time. Meaning a little goes a long way. Ultrasonic diffusers emit about the 5 drops you add over astretch of a few hours. This diffuser likely mists those 5 drops within 10 minutes. The oil quickly saturates the air. I love this aspect of the diffuser but only wish I had a bit more control. Ideally I'd have it on for a few minutes and off for 20 or so. I'm trying to find a plug timer to fine tune it a bit if possible. Again I contacted the owner to see if a carrier oil could be added to stretch out the oils. He said that a carrier oil would clog the unit but that everclear alcohol could be safely added and diffused. I haven't tried this yet.I've written the owner of the company a few times with questions and he is very responsive and helpful. This is one reason I bought this unit over another diffuser. This company seemed to have a lot of positive reviews about the customer service while others fell flat. Overall I'm glad I bought the unit and am happy with it. It is super beautiful to look at and functions very well. Only desire would be a little more control over the on/off/timer settings.

I really love this newer even I just buy my way essential oil. It’s perfect for my house. My room is really smelling. Very good. Most recommended.

I've gone through SO many Essential Oil Diffusers, (mainly water based) and I had to write a review after trying this Waterless Nebulizer! This is the Best essential oil dispenser I've ever had, hands down. It instantly infuses your room with a very strong essence of the oil that you choose. While the review says that it will scent a 30'x30' I feel it stretches a bit beyond that even! I noticed that my whole upstairs smells great when I'm using it. The product itself feels sturdy and the glass is a bit thicker than I imagined it would be. Don't get me wrong it's still glass and is very delicate but so far I'm really loving it! I'm sure (if you choose to invest) that you will feel the same. Never going back to water diffusers.

So I’ve had this nebulizer for about 10 years, it finally quit atomizing the essential oils… I searched YouTube for troubleshooting information and learned a many things.. I ended up finding the company online and they are on Colorado and had a phone number listed, so I called… To my surprise a real live person answered…. Jonathan the life saver was more than happy to discuss the issues and finials came to the conclusion the motor should be replaced as the diaphragm was most likely perforated and not performing well…. The part was on the website and under 10 bucks and has an easy to follow instruction video, so I ordered it… when I got home I wanted to take apart the old motor to verify the issue and it was completely proven faulty as 2 of the 3 rubber diaphragms were split… so happy I’m able to fix a treasure than toss it … Thanks Jonathan
