Here he is at home in the Western World but falls in love with his roots, part of a common theme in Hindu movies, it appears. It is never maudlin or mawkish, sometimes serious and sometimes wacky. Great movie. I watched the DVD version
Great movie. I watched the DVD version, and the quality of this Blu Ray is just amazing compared to DVD. The only complaint is that the sound quality is not that great in some scenes. I guess it is movie production fault

Great Movie!
This is such a wonderful, thought-provoking movie! It's not like the typical Bollywood movie, but is more serious and the viewer sees a sadder side of India without making the movie depressing. All the acting is great, including the main actress who is debuting in the movie. There are a few songs (not as much as usually in BW movies), but only a couple of them that I thought were really good. I bought the UTV version, which is great, no defects at all.

One of SRK's best performances. Thoughtfully portrayed movie dealing with issues of class, caste, traditions and NRI's. Very moving. Makes you think! This is one for your home film libraries, because you will watch it again and again.

Seen it several times already. I Loved it! Shahrukh Khan is one of best actors I have seen. The loved the story and music.

Masterpiece
Got this after waiting for it for only, what, ~19 years? This bluray is the real deal. Had earlier purchased one that was manufactured by a different manufacturer and it had a terrible print. This one has great video, sound, and all the special features, and is manufactured by UTV itself, if I'm not mistaken. This was the last copy and there are a few more available from Excel Innovators at a higher price I think.
