Genial.

Mainly for the fans of the Blame! universe
This is a pretty faithful manga adaptation of the Netflix Blame! anime movie. I'd say it's more for fans of the show or hardcore fans of the Blame! universe. Not a must read. Art is nowhere near as awesome as Tsutomu Nihei, but it is still good. The art is much cleaner and less gritty than the other original Blame! manga. The main character Killy is a total bad-ass as usual. Really no great villain designs. Everything is a bit bland. If you're new to Tsutomu Nihei and Blame!, I would recommend the original oversized Blame! volumes over this or buy Abara. If you're a fan like me, you could still enjoy this and add it to your collection as I did. Or you could just watch the show (again) and save money.

Adds more details than the movie gave
This gives more insight and information on the story told in the movie which is great. The one takeaway is : yes it is drawn in a Tsutomu Nihei way but it isn’t drawn by Tsutomo Nihei himself. Killy is drawn differently and not in a good way. He resembles Killy but the artist want in a totaly different direction than from the original Blame! Books. The back cover states it was Directed by Nihei and art by someone else. So that is a take away, it would have been much better with Nihei actually drawung it.
