what age group is it for?

This is a solid 1-5 year old gift. 5 is aging out, but if you saw it today at our playground when my 2 year old brought it out, the 5 year olds swarmed! I cannot believe a 2 year old could break this... I don't think I could break this - even if I decided to skate with it or something crazy. It is a great sand toy, and we love it as such.

The length of the truck is a little bit smaller than a ruler (about 10 inches). It's a little over half a ruler high (about 7 inches), and about 7 inches wide.

did they fix the problem of it not working on hard wood floors

Works fine on our hardwood floors. We've never had a single issue with this toy. I'm very happy with it; so are my kids.

I can guess...I gave it to my grandson who lives in another state. Good for a 1-2-3 year old. Approximately 12-15 inches long and 6 - 8 inches tall? My grandson loves it and my daughter loves the fact that it's made of recycled materials.
