Very fast and efficient

I bought this a while ago, in December of last year, so it may have changed, but I have only got to install it. It looks good when lit up and the current seems spot on when I have my tester connected. Unfortunately, when I try to change the current it will randomly go up or down no matter which way I turn it. Unfortunately not being able to set the current to the amount I want and not knowing if it will go up or down makes the completely useless for my application. I cannot recommend this product.

Step down is lovely, but I need to check the step-up & typical minimum loading.

Whilst step down seem ok, when using step up from 12V to 16V it shows overload when reaching 2A only which is way below their spec of 30V/4A therefore useless for what I needed it for. My device required 16V/3A max and this device couldn’t deliver, unfortunately.Edit: It turn out it was overheating. I was able to mount a fan on top of the aluminum radiator and it started working properly. So the only drawback I see in this 4A converter is that it overheats (in my case around 3A) and stops working until temp goes down. Needs better heat dissipation system.
