Purchased a single with a coupon and it shrunk a little after 1st wash.**After learning my lesson, when the 5 Pack was on sale 50% off, I ordered a size UP... this ended up being only slightly more expensive than purchasing my next set of pads, which I did not have to purchase as a result of getting these, so easy to recoup costs / profit.They aren't as comfortable as regular underwear and aren't as easily to clean... but they are SUCH an improvement over pads / tampons.Overall it is a win for comparative comfort, saving money, the environment, and almost everyone in general except pad/tampon companies.***The way I go about washing them:1. Ever since the start of the pandemic, I HAVE to shower after returning home from work...As a result, I just shower wearing these and rub in some Castille Soap, when lathering myself.I hang them over the edge of my hamper to dry.2. I highly recommend getting a 5 pack, because then you can go through your clean pairs before/during your period and then throw 4 of them in the weekly wash with delicates on cold (*wearing the other pair in the meanwhile).3. Hang them to dry4. Throw them in the dryer for 5 minutes to sanitize, and repeat if necessary (for protection against spotting or a longer period).Note: Rating 4 but NOT rating 5 stars, because for all that they are great as period panties...Because they aren't supposed to get thrown in the dryer / treated as normal underwear, while not difficult to wash, it IS an extra step/pain...And they are OK / comfortable enough, but they aren't as comfortable as my regular underwear...To put it into perspective, last time my period was late, so I ended up wearing 4 pairs before my period started, so I basically went 9 days wearing these... and was glad to return to normal, post-period wear.

I love these so much I had to write a full review. For my stats: 5'8, 160lbs, sized up and bought XL and they fit perfectly. I probably could have been OK with XXL too, to be honest.I don't wear tampons - I'm a maxi pad only kind of girl. My period is moderate: Day 1, light bleeding and light cramping; Day 2, heavy bleeding and heavy cramping; Day 3, light bleeding and light cramping; Day 4, light bleeding no cramping; Day 5, nothing; Day 6, nothing; Day 7 SURPRISE B!TCH I'M BACK FOR SOME BLEEDING TO RUIN YOUR PANTIES.Originally, I just wanted a few pairs to wear around day 7, but I gave in and tried them for my entire period based on good reviews. Those reviews were absolutely correct. These are the best period product I have ever - EVER - used.My concerns:Would these be comfortable?YES. Holy sh!t. So comfortable. More comfortable than my regular panties. Literally incomparable to wearing a bulky, gross pad. I genuinely can't say it often enough: these are a game changer in terms of comfort during my period. Amazing.Would these actually absorb all the blood?YES. Even on my heaviest flow, I had no problem at all. Where does the blood go? No idea! The crotch area is a little thicker than normal panties, but much thinner than a pad. I assume it's sacrificed straight to Satan.I got the "leak proof" and the "absorbent" styles. The absorbent worked best for my lighter bleeding days. The leak proof worked best for the heavy bleeding days. I would suggest the leak proof for heavier bleeders.Would these leak or smear blood on my clothes or thighs?NO. Not even a little, and I flail around in my sleep and went to a yoga class. I'm basically a walking commercial. Did not eat a salad while laughing, though.Are they gross to handle?A LITTLE. After wearing, I rinse them out in the tub and then toss them in a delicates bag until I do laundry. Yes, there's some bloody water involved in rinsing them (and maybe a clot or two gets squeezed out). It's no grosser than handling a used pad, though.Are they hygienic?YES. I don't know how they do it, but it is significantly more hygienic than a pad in my opinion. Pads are hot, soggy, swampy, and grossly moist like 95% of the time, except for the five minutes after you slap a new one on. These panties stay cool, dry-feeling, and breathable for 95% of the time, except for the five minutes right before you change them when you realize they're getting a little ick.Are they cost effective?YES. There is definitely an outlay at first. I needed 3 sets, so 9 altogether - two of the absorbent, and one set of leak proof. This allows me to put a fresh pair on in the morning, and a fresh pair on in the evening, without doing laundry. I'm planning on getting a 4th set just to have extras.For women with longer periods, going into 5-6 or 7-8 days, I would recommend getting 4 sets to start.Even so, I changed my pads much more often (every two hours) to try and keep feeling clean and fresh, and the pads weren't cheap either. I estimate it will take me 3 periods before I'm saving money, but after that, my costs are definitely reduced.Will these last?I DON'T KNOW YET. I washed them in cold water on a normal cycle and air dried them before wearing them the first time and they held up fine. The stitching looks solid and they feel well made. I will update my review after six months regarding how well they've held up.To be honest, even if they are cheaply made and fall apart, I can never go back to wearing pads again. I love them so much I'd just grumble and buy more new ones.

i still used a pad for heavy days, but did not had to change it every 2 hours. First time in many months i didn't get my pants stained! Don’t use the wing pads bc it will bypass the panty and defeat its purpose. I forgot about it but then folded the pad wings while untill i use all my wing pads supply.

I really like these, even for every day wear. They are incredibly comfortable. Definitely size up an entire size, unless you are going by junior’s size. I’d be an xs in women’s and small in junior’s. The small fits me perfectly. The fit is very comfortable and doesn’t ride up. The material is very soft. When I had a leak, they were much more absorbent than I expected. I would never wear them without a tampon, but they are pretty good back up.

Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass das meine erste Periodenunterwäsche ist, von daher habe ich noch keinen Vergleich. Sitzen tun die Teile gut (dafür der eine Stern), ansonsten bin ich eher unzufrieden. Man hat das Gefühl als würde man mit einer Pampers rumlaufen und viel Feuchtigkeit wird auch nicht aufgesogen. Im Gegenteil, schwitzt man beim Sport ein wenig ist die ganze Hose feucht. Des weiteren wage ich doch stark anzuzweifeln dass das Teil genauso viel wie 2 Tampons aufnimmt. Ich brauche in einer Nacht keine 2 Tampons, die Unterhose hat aber keine Nacht gehalten. Ich denke das alles geht durchaus besser.

I bought 2 different brand on amazon to try, these are SUPER soft, and comfortable. They wick away moisture quickly as well while the other brand does not. I also love That the back panel goes all the way to the band so I feel super safe using them at night, I will definitely be buying more of these!

Not many period panties have the pad allThe way up the butt. The panties are tight, thick and secure. I ordered 1 to try and ended up ordering more.

They are a little tight, you may want to size up. For the price point compared to other items like these I would say they are worth it. I have only used them on lighter days but I'm not super concerned about absorbancy as I don't have a crazy flow.

I have tried several brands of this type of underwear and this is the worst. The fit is very small and the absorbency is terrible. The sizes are more for young girls than women. Very disappointed in this purchase. Will not be buying again.
