Great product
So I apparently have a leg length discrepancy and was getting a pseudo-scoliosis in my low back along with sacral back pain. I've been working in a new position where I'm on my feet all the time and my issue became more pronounced. I was diagnosed after going to a PT for therapy. These lifts have leveled me out and made my back pain disappear. Great product - changed my life!

Exactly what my physical therapist gave me
My physical therapist found that one of me legs is longer than the other which causes problems in the spine. He sold me lifts which worked perfectly. I prefer to have lifts in all of my shoes. We are in another state now so I ordered one of these. It is perfect! I use double sided tape to keep my lifts in place.

Works pretty well.
These are pretty handy, but I wasn't crazy about having to guess if this was the right fit for me, as my doctor used to tell me what height I needed and get it for me. He recommended this, when he ran out. But I had to guess at the size. You tear off layer by layer until you get the height in the lift that you want. After a little while, the top layer starts to slide away from the other layers, but I have gotten a lot of use out of it. I bought several of these and put them in each pair of shoes that I wear often (Summer and winter shoes). I even took off the top layer with the brown color and added this lift to a pair of black sandals. it worked well for awhile, but eventually fell out of the sandal. Slides around in my shoes sometimes, I just have to push it back into place.

Fixed my lower back pain
Had chronic back pain. Physical therapist measured my legs, found lengths differed. Recommended lifts in the shorter leg. Custom orthotic made before the measurements didn't give enough lift. These lifts added enough height to make up the difference. Back pain went away within a week. They last longer than other lifts I tried, and don't compress as much. Highly recommended!

If you need a shoe lift, get these!
I love these! My Chiropractor noticed that I have a short leg and recommend shoe lifts. I tried the hard plastic ones along with the full foot lifts and hated both - but these ROCK! They've got great support as well as some give. so they're comfortable. I place them under the shoe insole and in most of my shoes they stay put - if not, then I fold a little duct tape to put under the lift and that's it!The weird thing is that they don't seem to collapse after time like you would expect - I've been using them for over a year now in all my shoes and have only replaced one, in my daily-driver work shoes.

Its ok
The pads are OK, they fit in my shoe. What I didn't care for was the way the three pieces were sized as one piece and glued together. The top piece looks like the picture. The next piece (or middle) was smaller in length by an inch or so. The third (or bottom) piece was much smaller by another inch or so. If you try and pull them apart so they can be adjustable they can tear as they are so thin. So if you intend on pulling them apart be aware that they may tear. As I only need the top piece that didn't really matter as much. I did use the other two pieces in another shoe under an insert so I get two for the price of one.

A Painful Experience
I was totally disappointed with both the product and the treatment I received. Only half of the order arrived. I understood that I would receive four pairs, but only two were delivered. I called Tartan Group, the distributor and was treat extremely rudely. After being abused by the supervisor, I asked to talk the person to whom she is accountable. She told me she is accountable to no one and that the CEO of Tartan Group would never talk to any customer...ever.My podiatrist recommend a lift to correct a balance problem and give relief to plantar faciitis. The heel lift is too rigid. It exacerbated the problem. It made the pain worse.

Little money for great pain relief!
I fractured my femur in Dec & wasn't able to put weight on the leg for 2 months. So, when I could start walking again it was awful and I was limping with quite a bit of pain. I did't realize that part of it was due to difference in my leg lenght after the surgery. However, my physical therapist did when I saw her again 4 weeks later. She had a demo of these and it seemed to help so I ordered the 4 pack for $20 (only $5 each). It is amazing what a difference they made. And, at the price, I don't always have to trade them from one pair of shoes to another one for the ones I usually wear.

Perfect!
I had a bad go-around with prednisone a few years back and lost the head of my right femur, shortening my leg.I need firm support but can't afford orthotics and other lifts I've tried were too spongy. This has a little give to it, but I don't feel wobbly when walking.Using this with a new pair of pull-on slippers (the heel won't slip out) I am now walking much better.I'm buying another one of these and areHIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Item is 'as advertised'
Chiropractor said get a hard heel lift and this single lift is part of a plan to compensate for leg length differential. The Important word was 'hard' not spongy. The item is a singleton as it is to compensate, not to simply make you appear taller!
