The knife does an excellent job of cutting through grips. It was very ease to use. While some consider it small, I like the smaller unit to do this type of work, keeps me from getting too overzealous trying to cut the grip off. I found the knife was of great value for the cost and was very functional for the job at hand . For a person with larger hands, I thought the grip was comfortable and easy to control. The blade stayed sharp and I have already done 2 sets of clubs with it. Well worth the investment.

The tool came with replacement blades and is easy to change. The blades are doubled ended and replaced the grips on 28 clubs and only flipped the blade for the last 4 clubs, mainly due to the grip material they had. I had no issues stripping the old grips off the clubs, worked out great.

I used a regular utility knife to remove one golf club grip and had to be very careful to not cut/damage the shaft. This hook knife took no time at all and allowed quick removal with no damage!! Nice little case to hold the tool and spare blades is a bonus!
