VTechMyla The Magical Unicorn

The first Myla I received (the one in this video) appeared to be defective so I sent it back without fussing with it. I chose the replacement option and received it within a few days. When I opened the replacement it appeared to have the same defect. I took it out of the packaging and found that there were cheap batteries in the toy, so I changed them for brand name batteries and now it seems to be working fine. This leads me to believe the product isn’t faulty (as shown in my video and others within the reviews) rather the batteries it comes with are low quality.Aside from this I don’t expect the toy to work for very long. It seems cheaply made. We shall see.

My daughter loves unicorns. We bought this for her for the 2019 Christmas. She loved it and it was one of her main toys for the year. A year later she still will occasionally play with it and sing along with her. The games are okay some aren't that inuitive, but my daughter mostly liked her singing and talking phrases. The digital makeup applicator and microphone are fun accesories.

Looks cute sounds cute but having to CONSTANTLY open the back of the brush wand to put the batteries back in place is a big irritation to the kids and us.We bought two, one for each of our girls and they are both the same. You screwed up on this one VTech. Not impressed.

First one arrived on time as usual, but the sound did not work correctly. It worked poorly and would not shut off even after repackaging for return. Sounded weird in the post office.Ordered a second, and it seems to be OK.It is cute and granddaughter will love it. Hope this one works properly.
