Lightning adapter
Not clear (to me) that this is not for a usb c port

Make SURE you read this review! DCIM folder!!!
If you planning on using this or similar adapters on an IPAD or IPHONE, it is necessary to put all your files (MP3/MP4, etc) into a directory called DCIM! I have returned or tossed I do not know how many adapters before I ran across this obscure requirement. If you do that the regular FILES APP works fine for USB drives/files. Let me know if this helps you! It was like MAGIC for me!

May Last a Year if Lucky
I was excited to buy and use this. But it didn’t last long. I have lots of similar adapters that have lasted years. This one is a risk. I would not chance it…

Works for copying files to USB with iPad Mini 4
Basically plug-and-play.iOS is really awkward to copy files with, but it does work as advertised with the current OS version (as of Feb 2023) to write onto the USB key. The strange thing is, any file you copy will have the date you copied it, rather than the original creation date. If you're copying images, you can still look at the EXIF to figure out the dates.
