*Whoosh!
These cards are crazy fun to throw! When they say that these cards are meant for throwing, they mean it! They are made up of very strong and durable plastic that cuts through the air like a banshee! The holes in it make it even more fun to throw especially hearing them whistle through the air! It's got great grip on the cards so you don't have to be worried about them slipping out of your hand accidentally. The pattern on the front of them is very attractive to the eye as well. The measuring system on the back is very useful as well so you can test if your throwing power is improving. It's really cool to watch it spin through the air and listen to it! Seriously they are soooooo fun! I did a test on them to see how they would work if the card got damaged so I cut it up jaggedly, made it have hanging pieces off of it, and cut off a third of the card and threw it. That card flew almost as well as it did when it was new, even when it was badly damaged! It is mind boggling what these cards can do. I would recommend getting a foam target for them that you can throw them into. The deck comes with 52 cards like a normal deck of cards, and the box for the cards is very strong and well made. It has a nice gloss on it with 3D design on it. You need these! No they are not made of metal, however they are made of an extremely durable plastic that can take a serious beating! When I throw my cards I throw them so hard that my eye can't even follow them. I'll throw them at the wall as hard as I can and it'll take quite a few throws before it starts to crack! Yet was is so amazing about these cards is the fact that if they split in half or something crazy like that, they still fly really well! My friends and I will have competitions of who can crack a card first with the least amount of possible throws. The record is two, but usually it takes like four or five times. There's 52 cards in the deck so you got a LOT of throws, specially if you aren't throwing them at a cinder block wall!

EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNERS EVEN SMALL CHILDREN [Read to the end]. No Chips. No Warps. Perfect Deck.
I didn't know what to expect when ordering these cards. I was supremely impressed. I read some of the negative reviews about receiving cards that were warped, chipped easily, or had partial arrow cut-outs that had to be cleaned up with a razor blade. My deck was not warped, did not need cleaning, and I haven't been able to get a single card to chip or crack. The one thing I didn't like about these cards was the fact they have a lot more flex in them than a regular playing card. This isn't a problem if you only plan on throwing them as they were designed but it makes flick tricks a little bit more difficult. This really isn't the point of these cards though. They are meant to be thrown. I also love that the pattern on the face of the card shows you the depth penetration when throwing into self healing foam or other soft products. My 6 year old son and I watched a video by Rick Smith Jr. on how to throw cards and my son was getting really frustrated with the normal bicycle deck we had. He was only able to get about 1 out of 20 cards to take flight. With this new deck my 6 year old is able to get 9 out of 10 cards to take flight and he is super excited. I should also mention that we have ordered three decks of Falcon Throwing Cards as well but it takes about 10 days to get them through the amazon sellers. I'm glad I was even able to order the Falcon cards since it appears they were from a kickstarter campaign and I was even able to get a limited edition deck. The design of these awesome Banshee cards is perfect for throwing and even a novice can do it. I had my father who has never thrown a card in his life try throwing one of these and he was able to get about 40 feet of distance on his first try ever throwing a playing card. These cards take flight so easy I feel they might invite bad habits since you can basically throw them like a Frisbee with decent results. One thing I didn't know about these cards is they aren't actual playing cards and every face has a depth gauge and not labeled as a normal playing card ace through king. This is also a huge plus because you are going to lose some of these and carrying a deck around with missing cards stinks but these aren't meant to be played with they are meant to be thrown. My son took his deck to school today for show and tell and gave each of his 17 classmates their own card to take home and it was a huge hit. I highly reccomend these cards for anyone who wants to get into card throwing or who has been doing it for years. I should also mention I threw 20 of these cards as hard as I could against my stainless steel fridge and none of them have chipped. I even folded one of the cards in many spots, including the corners, to see if I could snap a small part off and it has remained intact but that card is no longer able to be thrown. I was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews but I will definitely be ordering more of these cards very soon.

The Best Throwing Cards I've Found!
**UPDATE**After throwing these cards for a few days, I've lowered my rating from 5 stars to 4. They're still great throwing cards, but they're a bit brittle, and I've probably already trashed 20 cards or more. It's to be expected, but at $12/deck, it's an expensive endeavor if you're a hard thrower. I still think the cards throw great, but I'd love to see the manufacturer either drop the price to about $8/deck to make it a better value so I wouldn't have to question whether or not to keep decks coming. I think these cards are probably best for those who like to throw for distance rather than those who like to throw at a target or cut things with them, but the cards are clearly marked for cutting and sticking, so making it less expensive would keep people like me coming back for more.I've been throwing playing cards for three to four years now. In the past, I'd buy 10-packs of cards when I'd find them because regular playing cards won't hold up to lots of throws and cuts. When I saw these Banshees, I knew I had to try them. What card thrower wouldn't want to throw cards made for throwing, right?!I just got my first two decks of Banshees yesterday, and I've been throwing them non-stop against a foam target board. I love them! Not only do they stand up to lots of hard throws, but they stick exceedingly well. To boot, they made an awesome noise when flying through the air -- hence the name.As soon as I get a much better feel for the cards for accuracy sake, I'm going to break out the fruits and veggies to see how well they cut and how they hold up on those cuts. I'm betting they'll do great from my experiences so far.I definitely plan to get more decks in the future!
