Review: Great value! - EXTREMELY well packaged! Nice and heavy duty construction. Heavy enough gage steel that it should last a while. ALL hardware well marked. Easy assembly with great instructions. Only took about 30 minutes start to finish. Would highly recommend to any one looking for something similar!
Review: For me, this was a good buy - I departed from the usual brand of smoker I've use for 40 yrs. but after the first use, I think this one may be better than what I've used in the past. The grate area is larger than I expected. The barrel compartment holds the heat at a consistent temperature and far better than my last smoker. I noticed during the initial heat tempering it held a consistent temp. On my first use I used less charcoal to get to and maintain the desired temp. Steaks turned out perfect with less oversight and management, I think due to the steady temp. I do a lot of grilling. I don't know yet about the long term function of this brand or this particular model but after first use I'm very pleased with the purchase of this smoker. Update : 2nd use .... very pleased with this smoker. It holds a consistent temp level for extended periods of time without the need to monitor the amount of wood or charcoal. Update : After grilling steaks, chicken, 'burgers, and smoking a 17 lb brisket, I'm still amazed at how this smoker holds a consistent temp. I don't know if it's the brand, the particular model, or I just got lucky and this one fits together better than most, but it does a great job. I can't say for others but for me, price and performance make this a bargain.

**Q: can you smoke cheese on this smoker?**
A: Absolutely can smoke cheese in this using the side box for heat.  Put the cheese on parchment in the smoke shadow (which is the space under the smoke pipe). I have done Gouda and Muenster with great results.

**Q: Can you use pellets in the smoker side?**
A: Haven't tried that yet but I'm for sure you can

**Q: Can you add a rotisserie**
A: No unfortunately you Can't.

**Q: Is the warmer also made of porcelain-enameled steel wire?**
A: No. It's steel wire.
