First of all, the plastic used is of good quality. Nice space to install battery as mentioned.Strap works great, and holds the box tight - 1st learn how to install the strap in to the buckle to work as intended.I like the battery status indicator too. Not sure how accurate it is.What needs improvement? - Circuit breaker!It says that it has circuit breaker installed! Please see the picture carefully. It is connected to 12v cigarette lighter outlet plug, not for motor. So no protection if motor drains beyond limit.I installed 50amp circuit breaker (space available) to the positive terminal as seen in picture, to use it with Minn Kota 34lbs trolling motor running on UB12350 12V 35Ah SLA battery. I had to swap the terminals around. But that doesn't matter much.Not used yet! Excited to go for boating in a week or two, as time permits.Update: Went for boating on 27th June 2021, and had fun for about 1.5 hours (non-continuous) with my family before battery went low, and it worked great, as intended. Recommended by me.

The rope and buckle that comes with it didn't adjust easily and it didn't hold the lid very well, and the positive wing nut constantly got stuck resulting in unscrewing the terminal from the lid on the regular. Make sure you wait awhile after using the battery before you check, as it will show incorrect info, paperwork does mention this as well

Considering the price difference between this and the other brand name boxes, this is a great deal. Everything works properly and it came earlier than expected. Very satisfied with this purchase!

I can see that it is well made. I have a lightweight 12 V batter for my Kayak motor. The Station Box will be a nice fit for my fishing trips.

I love this battery box. I needed a useful and secure box for the battery for my trolling motor. This does it and then some!!
