The best funnel but a little small would had love a large one.

This is a perfectly functional funnel.I have to admit that I'm biased because I've taken several chemistry courses in Colorado where Coors ceramics are readily available. Buchner funnels made by that company are much more elegant. This one doesn't fit through commercially available pre-drilled #10 stoppers.That being said, I have no doubt that this will be perfectly functional, and it was about half the price of a Buchner funnel made by the aforementioned firm.

Pull out a ruler to help visualize the actual size of the funnel. I needed this size but I was expecting a bigger one from the picture. This funnel is actually smaller than what I normally use.

Why four stars? It has three little imperfections where all the filtering starts (the holes) and it makes it more difficult to "seat" the paper smoothly. It's not something to complain about-- I paid for a "budget" funnel and thats what I received. I just don't feel right giving it five stars with the divots in it. It performs all necessary function as a "budget' Buchner funnel should.

Well made and finished. Exactly what I wanted.

Filter works awsome, but you can only fit about 10-20ml of solution in at a time its about the size of a small teacup.Still works great just gotta stand around if your makeing larger batches.
