Q: How much yogurt can this hold?

I have found that it can hold at least 24 ounces. The yogurt I buy is in a 24 ounce containers so it could probably hold more, but I like to weight mine down with a can.

Q: What is the strainer made of? The Donvier version says stainless steel. What about this one?

It is stainless steel. Not sure of the amount of yogurt you are making but, I found it too small for a half gallon of milk.

Q: What utensil (spoon? silicone spatula?) do you use to get the yogurt out of the strainer, and into your storage container? Or, do you just dump it?

You can use anything you like, but I use a rubber spatula. Some yogurt kind of stays in the mesh of the strainer, but I scrape as much off as I can so I don't waste the yogurt, and then wash off the remaining.
