A Must-Have for Bowie Fans!
David Bowie left us January 10, 2016. It was a very dark day for so many of us. His life and his genius is discussed by those who worked closest to him in this book. The words and photos take you back and give you a taste of the extraordinary journey that was his life. This is a coffee table book. Excellent quality and beautifully done. Thank you Brian Hiatt..

A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE.
Firstly, as I received this book from Vine, I have made a £5 donation to a cancer charity of my own choice. The Lauren Brown Fund. She died aged 8 a few years ago, the daughter of friends.I have been a fan of David's since 1980. I own all but 1 of his LPs on vinyl, dozens of his cds yet just a handful of books. After 10th January, 2016 I ignored the outburst of publications. However, when Amazon Vine offered me this I went to Amazon, read the reviews and decided this book is for me. I was delighted when I received it. I cannot say enough about the quality of the book, the beauty of the photos, the overall design, the choice of interviewees chosen and of course, most importantly, what they have to say.I have included some photos to show the layout of the typeset. The words of Carlos take up 10 pages not including photos, for example.

A real breath of fresh air
A wonderful book. Amid so many new titles in recent months this book stands out for its sheer quality and originality. The photos and artwork sit so well against the text, and its lovely to read so much from the people who worked with Bowie throughout his career. No headline-grabbing half-truths here, just honest and often moving words from his fellow musicians, friends and celebrity fans. I would recommend this highly to anyone interested in David Bowie's career and to anyone wanting a closer understanding of his undoubted genius.

Good insight
I like this book, it’s got some good pictures and a decent mix of people who worked with and were friends of David Bowie. My one niggle and I think it’s a big one is while the book is attractive the text is very small, it’s a big book with big pages, it could have been printed in bigger text.
