Cooks different Rices and cereals perfectly. Very easy to clean. I saw this being used at someone else's home and was impressed. I ordered mine the next day. It quickly became the most used tool in the kitchen. The air fryer is now second. A good cook book is needed. Wild rice is not a setting but cooks it well if you experiment a little. I purchased 3 different gourmet Rices for personal experimenting and gifts for others. No one liked them making them a bad purchase. I have used this cooker on all three, and more I have found available, they are wonderful! Easily replacing white rice as my favorite varieties. I also have been experimenting with cracked and whole grains as cereal. Best ever! Very versatile machine.
