Best cursive writing books for kids/ Cursive handwriting workbook
I really love this cursive handwriting workbook! It's perfect for beginners. As a homeschooling Momma I am always looking for the most inviting workbooks and this one had exactly what I was looking for. We have tried all kinds of workbooks since we started homeschooling and I have come to learn that less is MORE. The busier the books, the harder it is for my children to focus on the task at hand. So I love the fact that it is just a clean, simple, yet still inviting and fun with the cute little pictures on each page to color. It is just right. The book is the perfect size, pictures that are in the book are small, simple and easy to color, the letters, words, and sentences in this book are simple and just the right size for beginners. Very happy with this purchase. Will be getting more for my two other children!

I highly recommend this handwriting practice books for kids.
My daughter is in 3rd grade and they are teaching her cursive writing at school. She uses this cursive handwriting workbook to practice cursive writing at home. She enjoys it and independently works on it. I highly recommend this handwriting practice books for kids

This is ok for extra practice, but i wouldn't recommend it
I have not used this with a kid yet. I have not taught cursive with someone before, but have experience teaching someone how to write print. I have not looked in depth at other cursive practice books to be able to compare this book with others.Initial Impressions:pros-- the font is large- English is not necessarily required to use this book. However, if you incorporate the coloring instructions then it gives you a little more practice reading cursive.- It wasn't that expensive and price compared to other workbooksCons-- No instruction or tips other than the number/arrow to show the order for how to write a letter. The only "directions" are for some coloring activities which I think the intention was so you could "practice" reading cursive.- No information for left handed writers- these styles of pages are likely something you could print on your own if you wanted additional practice rather than purchasing.- I would rather have a dry erase design for this book or a binding that makes it easy to remove pages and put them in sheet protectors for additional practice.- binding does not lay flat so a person may have difficulty (or at least not be physically comfortable while) working straight out of the book. However, most workbooks are designed this way which makes zero sense to me.- the organization is weird. The first page of each letter is half upper case and half lower case. Then they have one page for upper case and one page for lower case- the practice reading in cursive is minimal and would not be sufficient if you were wanting this for reading practice. The coloring directions are almost like an afterthought because it's repetitive, so you won't learn very much from it.

My boys want to learn how to write cursive
My 7 & 8 year old boys wanted to learn how to write in cursive since it is no longer being taught in their school. I thought I would buy this cursive handwriting workbook for them to share. Well that did not go as planned because they did not want to share! So now I just bought a second book. They are both excited to improve their cursive writing skills. This workbook works well for their age.

SIGNATURE PLEASE
My signature is unique to me and something that I don't want to necessarily do digital. Since cursive handwriting is not longer being taught in school, I decided that I wanted my child to learn cursive handwriting. Although, we are in the digital age, some things are still worth learning and this is one of them. I like that this book spans from learning letters to connecting them with words and sentences. Great book for a great price.
