I purchased the first addition in the 1990’s and learned a lot This book helped me with good advise when I became a branch manager. Twenty years late I lost this copy and recently purchased it again and have noticed some updates in the newer version. Excellent book and author

This is still one of the best business books I've ever read... even all these years after its first publication. Harvey Mackey's storytelling style and unique insights into negotiation and human psychology are second to none.I would recommend this book to anyone, especially those who do not consider themselves entrepreneurs. There is a wealth of worldly wisdom and common sense that will be valuable to people in any field, and in all areas of their personal lives too.Thank you, Harvey Mackay.

Beautifully written, it's not a surprise that the book has been a NYT best seller.Recipes for success in three major macro areas: marketing/sales, negotiation and management. For each, the narrative of the examples is on point and effective. Final quick recommendation and the short advices about success and how to get to it certainly complete the book in all its parts.A must read to grow up skills: an accelerated mentoring for whom has to manage on a daily basis.

This is an effective self help book with lots of good advice. Most are straigth forward but it helps to know that there is no bizarre trick in success and that the determination to follow consistently a few good habits make all the difference.
