I purchased these meal prep containers bc, I need to watch what I eat... I have been placed on Statin Drugs bc, my cholesterol levels are too high... I want to try and get it down naturally... I have changed my diet dramatically... I need to incorporate more vegetables and fruits in my diet and cut back on certain foods I intake into my body... this is not hard to do... I love fruits and vegetables away... I was just too lazy to fix my meals I needed... since, there is a better way to prepare and store my foods in containers, I can just go to fridge and waa-laa, pop in the microwave... heat and eat... this is so convenient for me... it is funny, how the doctor can tell a person, they are ill and needing to change the way we eat and stating, you need some help with drugs... now we (well at least I am) are afraid of dying a miserable death, in pain... I am not afraid of dying, just the suffering part frightens me...Well anyway... I love these containers... I may purchase another 10 piece set, just to have enough when I need them... I also placed a couple of them in the freezer... they seem be holding up quite nicely... I believe, one should place on the counter to, allow the glass to become at room temperature...temporarily before placing into the microwave, just to be on the safe side so, the glass container won’t shatter... the tops to these containers are arthritis friendly... easy to close, well for me... it is also a smooth closing... the tops are plastic... hoping they won’t start to weaken it’s shape... time will tell...I have attached some photos of the meals I have prepped so far... it has only been 2 weeks for my eating of changing habits... I also, have not had a soda for about a week... I have been drinking fruit water...Well anyway... I do not want to bore the public with my life...I highly recommend these containers for ppl who want to change their eating habits...perhaps, eating in portions... for ppl on the run and press for time, like myself, who just want to prepare a meal for later... heat it up and save time and washing a lot of dishes...Happy Life Surviving and Happy Healthy Eating ppl...Good Day...;)

Order arrived very quickly with Amazon Prime. Each container arrived neatly separated by the cardboard compartment, containers with the lids closed, and two plastic films, one to protect the top side of the lid, and the other to protect the waterproof lid seal . The containers are very easy to wash, we removed the seals beforehand. Seals look pretty good, there’s a groove in the lid where the seal goes, they are really on there, there’s no way a seal could slide out or fall off, but they are easy to take off and put back on. The seals have tiny grooves on two sides of the seals, just remember the grooves need to make contact with the glass and you’re good to go. I only needed half the amount of the containers, but I couldn’t pass up the deal. I’m giving the other five containers to my in-law. This set was bought to supplement the 3-compartment glass containers we have. I tested how waterproof they were before washing and out of the five I tested, only one leaked. The leak was very slow, like a drop every five seconds, for me, that’s not a deal breaker, we have other lids we can use. The compartments inside the containers are not leakproof, if you have a salad with dressing on one compartment, and chicken in the other, the dressing will mix in with the chicken juice. We are aware of this so we put in things we don’t mind them blending. I read a review that someone put food safe silicon to keep juices confined, so that’s a possibility. The snaps are sturdy and easy to use; easy for kids, and I think it’ll be easy for my in-law to open and close, even with her arthritis. If otherwise, I’ll update the review. I like this set, would definitely buy again when I need more individual containers, you get so many for such a great price, enough to share!

Just used these today for the first time and the portion sizes are perfect for those of us who need to eat smaller meals. I saw from other reviews that the divided sections do leak into each other so I wasn’t getting my hopes up there- unfortunately it’s true, they do leak into each other. Luckily I’m not traveling with these so they are perfect for meal prepping. They seal pretty tightly and don’t leak from inside to outside which is most important. One of the locking clips on a lid came off and I managed to put it back into place but it was a little hard to get it to lock on that particular side. I haven’t quite figured out how to do this, but I accidentally fixed it and now it locks perfectly like the other locks. Other than that the quality seems to be good. I am using them in the freezer and oven this week as advised (ie not straight from freezer to oven). Let’s see if they hold up!

I'm on a ketogenic diet and I find it very helpful to plan out my meals at the beginning of every week. I was initially drawn to this by the high reviews and the 2 compartments. But did they meet my expectations? In short, yes. The containers were carefully packaged. No stickers or weird things leaving residue on the containers at all. Just took them all out for a quick wash and they were ready to go. The lids are quite solid and they snap sealed in a very satisfying manner on the top.Now, all that being said, one issue "some" people may have is that when the lid snaps shut there is a slight gap between the glass compartment divider and the lid's plastic. It's nothing notable, but if you went wild and decided to shake these bad boys up, there's a chance liquid from one side could go to the other.The only thing I'll be keeping an eye out on is long-term durability. Other than that, these are 100% what I expected in such a product!
