HENGSHENG 2 Packs 1/4" Thread to Metal Flash Hot Shoe Mount Adapter for Studio Light Stand/Tripod

The Rode microphone hotshoe could not be inserted into this mount even when pressing with so much force that I was scared the microphone hotshoe would break. Had to break the mounting clips out of this adapter to insert the hotshoe. Also, the threads on the bottom are so short that the threaded mount on a Joby tripod could be screwed in far enough to pull the mount tight against the tripod's mounting surface. Had to add washers to get it tight.

I tried to mount six different flash units on this adapter, two Godox, one Canon, two Nikon, and one Sony. None of them would fit I am not going to risk my flash units by forcing; the Sony flash foot has extra contacts and would be easily damaged by an improperly-fitting adapter.

Are use the gadget that I purchased from this company. Finally to my tripod but holding my microphone issues there is a small metal piece it’s out of the holders.

I tried this with two of my flashes I use off camera. The metal part is too snug and tries to break your hot shoe.

This is a very good cheap solution if you need this hot shoe adapter! Whoever says it doesn’t work is just hating on this company because this product is great and very well made!

Cheap cold shoe adapters for the top of my tripod and the inside of my ring light. They go on easily and are simple to use and exactly what I expected at a great price.

I was disappointed that the adapter didn't fit the flash well at all... too small.

Overall, they still come in handy.
