SAT and ACT Grammar Workbook (Barron's Test Prep)

Clear & concise explanations of grammar. I use this for tutoring & it’s helped many of my students. I prefer this over many of the other more expensive books!

I am pleased with the content of the book.It covers a wide range of topics; and does a wonderful job of addressing them.

This has good explanations and good practice exercises. I haven't seen any multiple choice questions so far.

This book is exactly as advertised: It has well written explanations of grammar principles, a focus on common grammar mistakes tested by the SAT and ACT and loads of practice questions. The best way to work this book is over time; grammar rules aren't quickly absorbed. Study a concept, look for it in everyday reading, practice writing it, test yourself.

My son has not completed this but it is easy to follow and he is learning a lot.
