⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.2️⃣5️⃣This second book in the trilogy isn't as good as book one, but it's still a good time. I did enjoy getting more of the plot this time around. And once again, I have to immediately jump right into the next book. The plot is engaging and exciting. It's not often that I get wrapped up in the plot with these types of romances. Usually, they are underwhelming or poorly contrived and come off completely absurd. This one is well presented within the context of the family dynamics and world they live in. While sensational, the plot maintains a fictional level of belief. It's not over the top ridiculous.I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this trilogy. Fun, relaxing experience!

My Thoughts: Aiden and Elsa's story continues to be one of my top 5 reads of all time. Throughout this second book, we relive some moments of the past that uncover more truths and lies about the ones closest to them. Aiden is top-tier, possessive, and dominant of Elsa, but we also start to see it replicated with Elsa. These two experienced an immense amount of tragedy and no matter the forces that attempt to drive them apart, they continue to fight for each other.

The first book in the trilogy got a few books into me, but this book is responsible for me making reading a habit and priority in my life again. It was so good. I’m on the third book and I don’t want this story to end!

Got for my daughter, came in early and she loved it. I read it as well and finished it in 2 days. Love the series
