I’m black (kind of lightskin tbh but I’m not that light) and ordered the brown and light brown ver!! I was skeptical because I figured the light brown would make no difference since it was dang near the same color as my skin and assumed it’d only work on white people but omg I love ittt😭😭 the regular brown pen perfectly matches the color of my dark spots and can pass as freckles. The lighter brown is perfect for faded freckles. I love everything and will totally buy it again!!! It also doesn’t wipe away too easily which is perfect because I scratch my nose a lot 💪💪

I had been on a long search for great freckles that still looked natural . From spending a good amount of money on "freck" products to eyeliner pencils, to freckle pens. You name it, I probably tried it (even the homemade stuff). After not wanting to spend $30 for every time I ran out of freckles, I gave a chance on Amazon freckle pen. For the price, the longevity, and the natural look, this product is a great purchase that will last you a long time. The pen creates a great natural look that can be toned down, or layered, I would recommend this as my favorite freckle pen for an amazing cost.I had tried the freck beauty og, colourpop freckle pen, as well as multiple other eyeshadow pencils and this by far is my favorite for the cost and look and ease of use.

I love this freckle pen! The lighter color is perfect for natural looking freckles on pale skin. The darker color looks more dramatic and I haven’t worn it out yet, but I’m still glad I got both colors. Draws on super easy and pats out nicely with a gentle tap. They only last for a couple hours on me, but I imagine a good setting spray would make them last longer. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would buy again!

Pretty good for the price. Doesn't stay well reapplying sunscreen or can turn kind of a funny color but overall I like these pens. Super fun!

The light brown and dark brown colors are very realistic looking in my opinion. They have great staying power as well. The way I use these freckle pens is to dab only a few spots on at a time, and then tap my finger over each spot quickly to make them more subtle. If you just put dots everywhere and leave it, it's way too dark to look natural. The product sets really fast, so you have to work quickly. The freckles stay put on my skin and don't seem to smudge. It you put some where you don't want it- let it dry -then use a spoolie to gently scratch it away without disturbing any makeup underneath (similar to mascara). Love these! :)

Not sure why this product has bad reviews, I think it’s an excellent dupe for more expensive “freckle” products sold at Sephora, you just need to know how to use it. I apply a few small dots lightly and then pat it around with my finger to create more dots and have a more natural look. I prefer the lighter colour over the darker one (I have a medium olive skin tone). I have noticed though that if you touch your face a lot it will come off, it’s not meant to last a long long time, but setting spray and powder should easily fix that. Overall, I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try the faux freckle trend but does not want to spend a lot of money on other freckle products.

I naturally have some freckles but wished i had more so i bought this. the light color worked best for me. apply lightly and dab with your finger or something for it to work best and look natural:) i barely can tell the difference between my natural freckles and the fake ones!!

I am on the paler side in terms of skin tone, however BOTH of these pens were far too dark to look even close to realistic...and that was with a layer of foundation on top to try and tone it down. The dark brown pen is pretty much black, and the light brown pen is very dark brown. I had high hopes as I have freckles naturally but they get covered when I wear foundation...but I'd feel like a fool if I left my house with "freckles" created with these pens. So dark and unrealistic (for a super pale person like me)

These were great. I picked the light brown since I'm very light and it worked out great.My technique is to place some dots (GO LIGHTHANDED), and then dab my finger on them/around them to lighten the color a bit and spread it around a bit. Make sure to look up reference photos (people with actual freckles) to see how to lay them. Make sure to get some on your forehead/chin/under eyes too if you're looking for a heavy, realistic freckle look. Make some spots lighter and some spots darker, do a few layers, and I'd even suggest putting some on your neck. After I finished, I applied some orange blush all over my face (mainly on my upper nose, cheeks, forehead, and chin) to give me that flushed look. Good luck!
